Abstract

The invention discloses a dual-technology detector based on an area anti-pet algorithm and an anti-false alarm method thereof. The dual-technology detector comprises a PIR sensor, a microwave sensor,a PIR amplifying circuit, a microwave amplifying circuit, a single chip processing unit and an alarm output circuit. The single chip processing unit receives an analog voltage signal transmitted fromthe microwave amplifying circuit to calculate the accumulated area of a super microwave threshold value in the specific time of the voltage signal, and receives an analog voltage signal transmitted from the PIR amplifying circuit to calculate the accumulated area of a super PIR threshold value in the specific time of the voltage signal. A singlechip judges the size of the accumulated PIR area SUM_PIR and the accumulated microwave area SUM_MW, calculates the sum of the area of the accumulated PIR area and the accumulated microwave area to determine whether an alarm output is generated. The detection method which is based on the area algorithm and is provided by the invention can reduce false alarm caused by pets without sacrificing product sensitivity.
