The invention provides a lever-type force measuring device for the tension-compression of bundle fibers and an application thereof. The device comprises a fixed clamping mechanism and a movable clamping mechanism which are used for clamping or unclamping the bundle fibers. The fixed clamping mechanism is arranged on a stress bearing frame used for achieving a tensile force transmission. The movable clamping mechanism is arranged on a moving frame. A force measuring mechanism is connected with the stress bearing frame. The device further comprises a tension-compression mechanism used for driving the moving frame to move and a measurement control system used for collecting data and controlling mechanisms to operate. The moving frame is driven through the tension-compression mechanism to stretch or compress the clamped bundle fibers, and the displacement amount is measured by a stepping motor. A lever-type force bearing mechanism composed of a fulcrum axis and a simple beam transmits thedrawing force or the compressing force to the force measuring mechanism to measure the stress value of the bundle fibers. The device can not only perform a same sample measurement of stretching and compressing of the bundle fibers, but also can be suitable for films, fabrics and sheet materials.
