Abstract

Each of energy storage batteries in the energy storage battery system is connected to a main pipe viaa branch pipe provided with a control valve and further connected to an interface of an auxiliary system in the energy storage battery system, the auxiliary system comprises a safety protection system and a maintenance regeneration system to allow the cell and the electrolyte in each energy storage battery to respectively communicate with fluids in the auxiliary system. When the detection devicedetects that a certain energy storage battery has faults, especially, the temperature rises sharply, the safety protection system injects a flame retardant gas and/or a flame retardant liquid into thehousing of the energy storage battery to prevent the battery from further reacting, thereby preventing the battery from combustion explosion. Besides, the maintenance regeneration system can performfluid infusion, fluid replacement and exhaust of a single or all the energy storage batteries so as to improve the use performances of the batteries, prolong the battery life and achieve the maintenance and regeneration of the energy storage batteries.
