Abstract

The invention discloses an automatic breeding method for rats and mice in a barrier environment. The automatic breeding method includes attaching an RFID (radio frequency identification device) to each cage, moving replacing cages from a cage frame according to the time sequence by an AGV (automated guided vehicle) carrying robot, timely handling the abnormal cages, conveying the replacing cages to a mouse changing workbench by the AGV carrying robot, and conveying replaced cages to an automatic cleaning device through a conveying belt to conduct cleaning. The rat and mouse breeding method isapplied to modularized and automated rat and mouse breeding activities of experimental animal breeding institutions in the barrier environment, and meets the quality requirements of scientific research institutions, universities, hospitals, pharmaceutical factories and other customer groups on experimental rats and mice. The automatic breeding method has the advantages that the rats and the mice having abnormal vital signs are automatically identified by an infrared-ray thermal inductance technique, and personnel for breeding is timely notified to perform harmless treatment; the replacing cages are carried by the AGV carrying robot to the mouse changing workbench for replacement, and full-automatic 'cage replacing and mouse changing' are realized without direct intervention of people.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of experimental animal breeding, and in particular relates to an automatic breeding method for rats and mice in a barrier environment. Background technique [0002] Rats and mice are important experimental animals, which are widely used in many fields such as life science exploration, disease treatment plan demonstration, new drug development, infectious disease research, medical teaching and experimentation. Rats and mice used in modern biomedical research must be kept in a comfortable, stress-free and controlled barrier environment. At present, in the process of raising rats and mice, the work of changing cages and bedding materials, providing feed and drinking water is mostly manual operations. Manual operations have problems such as negligence, mistakes, frequent entry and exit, pollution of the barrier environment, and intrusion of animals. In the process of seeking automated breeding, people face many...
