Abstract

The invention provides a method and a device of measuring a distance between a transmitter and a receiver. The method comprises steps of: setting n temperature collecting points, wherein temperature of each temperature collecting point is within a preset temperature range; at each temperature collecting point, using a reference source continuously for t times to emit an RF signal to collect signalstrength RSSI of the receiver and real-time transmit gain control value of the transmitter, wherein transmit power of the transmitter is stable and RF power output to the receiver by the reference source is stable; establishing a correspondence model of the signal strength RSSI and the real-time transmit gain control value according to the signal strength RSSI and the real-time transmit gain control value collected by t times at each temperature collecting point; determining a temperature deviation compensation value according to the correspondence model; and determining the distance betweenthe transmitter and the receiver according to the temperature deviation compensation value. The method has the beneficial effects of using no extra temperature sensor and being low in cost.
