Abstract

The invention discloses a rollover prevention device of a pneumatic braking heavy vehicle, and a control method. The rollover prevention device comprises an anti-yaw module, an anti-roll module, an electronic control unit (ECU), a yaw angular velocity sensor and a vehicle body roll angle sensor; the ECU controls the anti-yaw module to braking parts of wheels through solenoid valves mounted in front of braking gas chambers of all the wheels based on pneumatic braking, thus the anti-yaw moment is obtained, and the yaw stability of the heavy vehicle is improved; and meanwhile, the ECU controls the anti-roll module to work, high-pressure gas remaining in the braking gas chambers after braking is recovered, the recovered high-pressure gas is sprayed out towards the left side or the right side of a vehicle body through a first switching valve and a second switching valve, and the vehicle body roll angle is decreased through counter-acting force of the high-pressure gas. The structure is simple, mounting is easy, meanwhile yaw motion and roll motion of the heavy vehicle are controlled, braking energy recovery and vehicle rollover prevention are combined together, thus energy is saved, andthe rollover prevention effect is good.
