[0021] Stool samples containing gut microbes for transplantation were randomly selected from clinical male major depressive patients and male healthy controls. Feces processing was carried out in a sterile environment. 0.1 g of each feces sample was suspended in 1.5 ml sterile PBS, and 5 equal parts of the feces suspension were mixed together.
