The invention discloses an optimal configuration method and system for an energy storage system in a virtual power plant based on a scene set. The optimal configuration method of the energy storage system comprises the following steps: constructing a virtual power plant model comprising a fan, a photovoltaic vehicle, an electric vehicle and the energy storage system; simulating uncertainty factorsin the virtual power plant through Monte Carlo sampling, and generating a combined output scene set; establishing an energy storage system capacity optimal configuration objective function considering the cost; and solving the optimal configuration model of the energy storage system in the virtual power plant through a differential evolution algorithm in combination with various constraint conditions in actual operation.
