Abstract

The invention relates to a button polymer lithium ion battery and a circular waved edge pressing method thereof. The edge pressing method includes cold pressing or hot pressing. The cold pressing doesnot require heating, and other methods are the same as hot pressing. The hot pressing comprises the following steps of: S1, preparing molds: preparing a upper mold and a lower mold of which the sidesclose to each other are configured in waved shapes; S2, loading a heating mechanism: preparing heating elements and loading the heating elements on the upper mold and the lower mold; S3, die cutting:die cutting the button polymer lithium ion battery; and S4, hot pressing: putting the button polymer lithium ion battery die cut in the S3 in the lower mold having the heating mechanism described inthe S2. The method is reasonable in design, can press the circular sealing edge of the die cut button polymer lithium ion battery into waved shapes staggered up and down, can conveniently presses thesealing edge from a plane into a regular wave, and makes the battery appearance regular.
