Abstract

The invention discloses an excitation detecting circuit of a superconducting magnet and a control method thereof. The superconducting magnet in the excitation detecting circuit of the superconductingmagnet includes two first superconducting components and a plurality of second superconducting components. The first superconducting components and the second superconducting components include superconducting coils, and the excitation detecting circuit of the superconducting magnet includes a second switch module and at least one first switch module. The superconducting coils form a series branch, and two ends of the series branch are connected to an excitation power supply. The first switch module is used to make the excitation power supply provide an excitation current to the correspondingfirst superconducting component in a pre-excitation stage of an excitation circuit, and the second switch module is used to control an open circuit of the series branch in the pre-excitation stage ofthe excitation circuit. In the technical scheme, losses of liquid helium are reduced, and a probability of superconducting coil quench in the excitation circuit due to movement of the superconductingcoils in the first superconducting components during subsequent formal excitation detection of the excitation circuit is decreased.
