The method includes the steps that after casting of a new tundish begins or a submersed nozzle is replaced, the liquid level of acrystallizer is set to be the preset liquid level, the preset liquid level is in the range of the range-adjustable middle line up-down floating preset values corresponding to the liquid, and the immersion depth of the submersed nozzle is set to be the initial depth; and the immersion depth of the submersed nozzle is upwards or downwards adjusted by a first preset height every other preset heats from the second heat, and when the immersion depth of the submersed nozzle reaches the corresponding extreme value in the direction, the immersion depth of the submersed nozzle is reversely adjusted bya second preset height every other preset heats. By the application of the submersed nozzle slag line adjusting method, due to the fact that stability of a flow field in the crystallizer is good, thephenomenon that protective slag cannot flow in normally due to unstable casting can be avoided, and therefore steel leaking can be avoided.
