This invention relates to the field of clean steel
smelting technology, specifically to a multi-channel turbulence controller and a
continuous casting tundish. The multi-channel turbulence controller is a multi-channel diversion energy-dissipating turbulence controller, comprising a controller body and an internal hollow chamber. The controller body has a hollow chamber with an upper outlet at its center. Around the upper outlet, 4-8 vertically penetrating flow holes are arranged symmetrically around its perimeter. This invention enhances the mixing of the flow
stream and the
molten pool through the diversion effect of the multi-channel flow, consumes the turbulent
kinetic energy of the returning
molten steel, and significantly reduces the vertical upward
backflow impact of the
molten steel by utilizing the mutual interference of the flow streams. This stabilizes the
slag-
metal interface, fundamentally suppresses
slag porosity formation during unsteady
casting, reduces
molten steel temperature drop, secondary oxidation, and
slag entrapment, inhibits the formation of endogenous inclusions, alleviates crystallizer
nozzle blockage, improves molten steel temperature uniformity, and enhances billet cleanliness and
continuous casting production stability. It features a simple structure, convenient
processing, and ease of industrial application.
