Abstract

The invention improves a method for a hydrosilylation reaction by using a cobalt catalyst, and relates to the technical field of hydrosilylation reactions. The method comprises: carrying out a hydrosilylation reaction on reaction raw materials of an olefin and a hydrogen-containing silane and a cobalt catalyst at a temperature of 0-50 DEG C, wherein the cobalt catalyst comprises a terpyridine derivative and a cobalt salt according to a molar ratio of 1:0.5-1:3. According to the present invention, the method for catalyzing the hydrosilylation reaction by using the cheap, easily available and widely applicable cobalt catalyst under the low heating condition is provided, wherein the method has characteristics of high olefin conversion rate and good selectivity of the addition product.
