According to the internal quality detection method and system for fruit, the to-be-measured fruit are irradiated by using the monochromatic continuous near-infrared light; because of the light absorption and scattering in the internal tissue of the fruit, the intensity of the emitted light will exist attenuation with the certain degree; the light intensity of the emitted light is detected and the absorption coefficient and scattering coefficient of the tissue are calculated, so that the internal quality of the to-be-measured fruit is obtained.
