Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a mechanical arm, a minimally invasive surgical robot, and manufacturing methods of the mechanical arm and the minimally invasive surgical robot. The mechanical arm includes a frame unit, a motion unit and a stiffness adjusting unit; the motion unit includes elastic rods, the motion unit is supported by the frame unit, and the elastic rods are adapted to be operatively moved relative to the frame unit in a longitudinal direction of the elastic rods; and the stiffness adjusting unit includes hollow stiffness adjusting tubes, the stiffness adjusting unit is supported by the frame unit, the stiffness adjusting tubes are adapted to surround a section of the elastic rods, and are operatively moved in the longitudinal direction to adjust the lengthof the part, far away from of the frame unit and not surrounded by the stiffness adjusting tubes, of the first end of each elastic rod, so that the stiffness of the first end of each elastic rod is adjusted. According to the mechanical arm and minimally invasive surgical robot provided by the embodiments of the present disclosure, the stiffness of the tail end of the mechanical arm can be adjusted in real time during surgery to meet different surgical needs and improve the safety of surgical operation.
