A method for detecting an oil return hole of a gas-liquid separator is applied to technical field of air conditioners and comprises the following steps: injecting refrigerant oil into a gas-liquid separator to be detected, wherein the refrigerant oil covers an oil return hole of the gas-liquid separator to be detected; using a gas outlet pipe of the gas-liquid separator to be detected to pump outthe refrigerant oil in the gas-liquid separator to be detected; detecting the flow of the refrigerant oil when the refrigerant oil flows through the gas outlet pipe of the gas-liquid separator to be detected; and judging whether the oil return hole of the gas-liquid separator to be detected is blocked or not based on the flow of the refrigerant oil pumped out by the gas outlet pipe of the gas-liquid separator to be detected and a pre-measured standard flow, wherein the standard flow is the flow of the refrigerant oil pumped out by the gas outlet pipe of the gas-liquid separator to be detectedwhen the oil return hole of the gas-liquid separator to be detected is not blocked.
