The invention provides a water supply network leakage efficient positioning method based on valve operation and on-line water consumption metering. Efficient and accurate positioning of leakage in a water supply network DMA is achieved. The method is implemented in multiple stages to gradually reduce a leakage area, in each implementation stage, a DMA pipe network is firstly divided into two sub-areas by utilizing an optimized valve operation strategy, and then the sub-areas containing leakage are identified through online water balance analysisbased on an intelligent water meter, so that the leakage area is reduced. According to the method, an optimized valve operation strategy is determined by establishing a minimized objective function and combining a graph theory method, and the minimum leakage area is determined with the minimum number of times of valve operation. Compared with traditional manual leakage listening and other methods, the method provided by the invention can significantly improve the leakage positioning efficiency and ensure the leakage positioning accuracy, and is easy to implement.
