The invention relates to the technical field cooling towers, in particular to a combined two-stage cooling transverse flow closed cooling tower which comprises a base, wherein a tower body is welded to the outer wall of the top of the base; a high temperature cooling tower and a low temperature cooling tower are connected with one side of the inner wall of the top of the base through bolts; two water absorption pipes are connected with the outer wall of one side of the base in an inserting manner and are connected with valves through flanges; the valves are connected with spraying pumps through water pipes; the water outlet ends of the spraying pumps are connected with water conveying pipes through the flanges; top net pipes are welded with the top ends of the water conveying pipes; and spraying heads is in threaded connection with the bottom outer walls of the top net pipes. The combined two-stage cooling transverse flow closed cooling tower has the following benefits: through arranging the high temperature cooling tower, the low temperature cooling tower and the spraying pumps, the two cooling towers and the two spraying pumps are operated independently, and the cooling temperature is adjusted; and when the two cooling towers are opened, cooling gas discharged by the low temperature cooling tower is re-utilized, so that the air utilization ratio is increased, and energy and water are saved to the maximum while realizing the cooling requirement.
