Embodiment

[0090] A lead smelting plant adopts a ball press process to produce a variety of green pellets, which are spherical and have a diameter of 15mm. The drop strength of these pellets needs to be known, as well as the production quality uniformity of the pellets. There are 7 types of samples, each of which is below 3t, and the types are classified according to the water content: 0%, 1%, 2%, 3%, 4%, 6%, 8%. At the same time, the traditional method and the new method described in this application are used for testing, and the evaluation results of the two are compared.

[0091] The traditional method is to drop at a height of 2m and hit a 1cm thick steel plate. Count the number of drops when broken or cracked.

[0092] The results of tests and calculations using traditional and new methods are shown in Table 1 and Table 2. For convenience of comparison, Q LX and V LX To compare the graphs, such as figure 2 and image 3 shown.

Abstract

The invention discloses a green pellet drop strength evaluation method which comprises the following steps: sampling green pellets of an inspection batch by adopting a random sampling or systematic sampling mode, extracting at least 50 green pellets, and sealing the green pellets in a sample belt for later use; vertically fixing the scale on the ground, performing marking at the position of 0.5-2m, and laying a bottom plate on the ground to finish the preparation of the testing device; enabling the green pellets for testing to fall off from the marks, and measuring the falling strength QLX-i of the green pellets for testing; calculating the falling strength QLX of the green pellets and the average falling strength to calculate the dispersion VLX of the falling strength of the green pellets; and determining whether the test is continuously carried out or not according to the QLX obtained by judging the dispersion VLX until the obtained qualified QLX is the QLX or the test of all the test samples is finished. The method provided by the invention can accurately and objectively evaluate the drop strength of the green pellets.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of iron and steel and nonferrous metallurgy, and in particular relates to a method for evaluating the drop strength of green pellets. Background technique [0002] In the ironmaking process, green pellets are the raw material for manufacturing metal pellets, and are an important part of the raw materials for the furnace. In some non-ferrous metal smelting processes, the green pellets produced by the drum / disk can be directly fed into the furnace. However, there are also factories that use a briquetting machine to process returned ore or auxiliary materials, and produce pellets that are mixed into the furnace. During the manufacturing process, due to the difference in moisture, composition, rotation parameters or pressure parameters (briquetting machine), the physical properties of green pellets are very different. [0003] The traditional method of evaluating the drop strength of green pellets mainly count...
