The method comprises: setting genetic parameters such as ditches and chromosome numbers; generating an initially optimized initial population; carrying out selection operation based on a roulette; carrying out adaptive cross calculation to prevent advanced convergence ofthe algorithm and improve the optimization efficiency of the algorithm; then, adopting an adaptive mutation probability to improve the evolution performance and achieve global search of the algorithm; and storing the optimal individual in the multi-generation random evolution process so far through an optimization strategy, wherein the optimal individual is the optimal solution of the shortest process path problem. According to the embodiment, the optimization problem of the machining process of a certain plane of the vehicle engine body is studied, the optimal solution of the machining pathis obtained, and then the purposes of optimizing the body process scheme and improving the body machining efficiency are achieved.
