Abstract

The invention provides a device and method for detecting the horizontal movement capacity of phytoplankton, and belongs to the ecological field. The invention also provides a method for detecting by using the device. According to the invention, the movementspeed of phytoplankton under light irradiation can be known for people, and the method is used for guiding the measurement of the vertical movement capability of phytoplankton.
