buffer zone is formed by connecting a sector-shaped transverse-flow

biochar zone, a sector-shaped longitudinal-flow
denitrification zone, a sector-shaped transverse-circular-flow
pollutant enrichment
shrub-
herb zone, a sector-shaped longitudinal-flow dephosphorization zone, a sector-shaped transverse-circular-flow tree-
herb-
biochar zone as well as necessary ridges, braiding channels or water-permeable walls in series. Low-concentration
wastewater such as
tail water of urban
sewage treatment plants, agricultural
wastewater,
surface runoff of villages and small towns and the like sequentially flows through the zones after simple
sedimentation, and suspended matters, organic matters,
nutrient elements, pesticides and the like in the
wastewater are gradually reduced. The
vegetation buffer zone is applicable to peripheries of reservoirs, rivers or lakes with limited
shore land areas and can effectively prevent
water environment pollution; native plants are combined harmoniously, so that the buffer zone has the good
treatment effect as well as the good landscape effect, the good ecological benefit and high popularization and application values.
