Abstract

The invention discloses an underground gasification method for a section protection coal pillar of a coal mine. The method comprises the following steps of (1) supporting a haulage roadway of a previous section, and building a cement wall in the haulage roadway; (2) supporting an air return roadway of a next section, and building a cement wall in the air return roadway; (3) punching a hole at theleft end part of the section protection coal pillar; (4) performing ignition at the left end part of the section protection coal pillar; (5) conveying oxidant gas to the section protection coal pillarthrough the air return roadway of the next section; (6) producing coal gas through taking physical and chemical reaction on an oxidant in the section protection coal pillar; (7) enabling generated gas to enter a mining area haulage rise through the haulage roadway of the previous section; (8) enabling the generated gas to enter an air return main roadway through the mining area haulage rise; and(9) enabling the generated gas to enter an air shaft to be collected through the air return main roadway. An original roadway during coal mining is used as a gasification passage; difficult-to-mine section protection coal pillars are directly gasified; a novel idea is provided for mining of the section protection coal pillar; and a novel method is provided for underground gasification of the coalmine.
