Abstract

The invention provides a sub-synchronous oscillation identification method and device for a wind power plant. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a noise-like signal generated when a series compensation capacitor is connected into a wind power plant; carrying out wavelet decomposition on the noise-like signal; judging whether the frequency range of each wavelet component contains asub-synchronous oscillation frequency or not; if any wavelet component contains the sub-synchronous oscillation frequency, completely reserving the wavelet component, and if any wavelet component does not contain the sub-synchronous oscillation frequency, obtaining wavelet components decomposed from the wavelet component; if the frequency ranges of the wavelet components of the next layer containthe sub-synchronous oscillation frequency, performing threshold filtering on the wavelet components, and otherwise, filtering out the wavelet components; and finally, adding all the reserved waveletcomponents to reconstruct a new effective signal, and performing calculation to obtain sub-synchronous oscillation mode information. According to the method provided by the invention, the potential sub-synchronous oscillation mode in the noise-like signal can be accurately identified, and an early warning can be issued for the potential sub-synchronous oscillation risk of the wind power plant.
