Embodiment 1

[0042] In order to better describe the method for determining a network fault provided by the present disclosure, the present disclosure uses a specific example for illustration.

[0043] figure 1 The flow chart of the method for determining a network failure provided in this disclosure, the method for determining a network failure can be applied to a controller, or can also be applied to a server installed with network management software (referred to as network management software), and the network management software can be used to draw Network topology, network monitoring, etc., are described in this embodiment by taking the method applied to a controller as an example, but it should be understood that this example should not be construed as a limitation to the present disclosure. Specifically, such as figure 1 As shown, the method includes:

[0044] Step 202, generating a path detection message, the path detection message including the first node information and the end...

Embodiment 2

[0059] Corresponding to the method for determining a network fault in Embodiment 1, the network node provided in this embodiment may also perform the following method, figure 2 A flow chart of the method for determining a network failure provided in Embodiment 2 of the present disclosure, such as figure 2 As shown, the method includes:

[0060] Step 302, when it is recognized that the received message is a path detection message, determine the path information of the path detection message.

[0061] The network node may determine that the received message is a path detection message according to the identifier of the path detection message.

[0062] The entry index identifier can be determined according to the entry of the received path detection message. After adding or subtracting 1 to the number of forwarding times of the path detection message, the network node fills in the path information such as the entry index identifier and the number of forwarding times of the pa...

Embodiment 3

[0070] The present disclosure also provides a device for determining a network failure, which is used to implement the method provided in Embodiment 1, image 3 A schematic structural diagram of a device for determining a network failure provided in Embodiment 3 of the present disclosure, as shown in image 3 As shown, the device includes:

[0071] A generating module 401, configured to generate a path detection message, the path detection message including the first node information and the end node information of the path to be detected;

[0072] A sending module 402, configured to send the path detection message to the head node;

[0073] The receiving module 403 is configured to receive the system log syslog sent by the network node, wherein the syslog includes path information for the network node to receive the path detection message; wherein the path information includes: the entry of the path detection message Index identifier, sequence identifier of the path detecti...

Abstract

The invention provides a network fault determination method and device, and the method comprises the steps: generating a path detection message which comprises the head node information and tail nodeinformation of a to-be-detected path; issuing the path detection message to the head node; receiving a system log syslog sent by a network node, wherein the syslog comprises path information of the path detection message received by the network node; and determining that the to-be-detected path has a fault according to the path information included in the syslog fed back by the network node. According to the method and the device disclosed by the invention, the path information passed by the path detection message is uploaded through the system log syslog, so that an openflow protocol does notneed to be configured for equipment (a controller or a server provided with network management software) for receiving the path information, and the compatibility of the system is enhanced.

Description

technical field [0001] The present disclosure relates to network communication technologies, and in particular to a method and device for determining network faults. Background technique [0002] As human beings enter the Internet era, the scale of the network becomes larger and more important. Quick troubleshooting of network problems has become particularly critical, and it has become particularly urgent for operation and maintenance personnel to quickly troubleshoot the point of failure. [0003] In the existing troubleshooting technology for network faults, the path detection message based on the openflow protocol is generally sent to the controller through the network node, and the controller determines the actual transmission path of the message based on the result of the path detection message and determines whether there is a fault . [0004] It can be seen that the prior art requires that the controller must be configured with the openflow protocol stack. Content...
