Abstract

A dimmer circuit is used in an LED lighting system which includes a power supply circuit and a lighting device. The power supply circuit is configured to provide an AC voltage. The lighting device iscoupled to the power supply circuit. The dimmer circuit is configured to adjust the brightness of the lighting device according to a dimming signal without the lighting device conducting a bleeder current during each cycle of the AC voltage.
