Abstract

The invention relates to an application of plasma small extracellular vesicle miR-431-5p as a marker of diabetes retinopathy diagnosis. It is firstly found that the expression level of miR-431-5p in plasma sEVs is closely related to diabetes retinopathy, and whether a subject has the risk of diabetes retinopathy or not can be judged more accurately and rapidly by detecting the expression of miR-431-5p in plasma sEVs of a diabetes patient; therefore, a prevention or treatment scheme is provided for clinicians, a new diabetes target and a new treatment pathway are provided for treating diabetesretinopathy as a target for preparing drugs for treating diabetes retinopathy, and compared with a traditional detection means, the diagnosis of molecular biomarkers is more timely and specific, so that the retinopathy process of the diabetes patient is predicted, early intervention and treatment are achieved, and the application prospect is wide.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of biomedicine, in particular to the application of plasma small extracellular vesicle miR-431-5p. Background technique [0002] Extracellular vesicles (EVs) are a variety of nanoscale vesicles released by cells. Vesicles of similar size can be further classified according to their biogenesis process, size, and physiological properties, such as microvesicles (MVs) and exosomes. MVs arise from the "budding" of the plasma membrane, shed directly from the cell, and vary in diameter from 100-1000 nm. Exosomes are extracellular vesicles with a diameter of 30-100 nm. In the late 1980s, Johnstone RM et al. discovered the existence of exosomes in the extracellular space. Small EVs (small EVs, sEVs) with a diameter of less than 200nm can be separated by traditional differential centrifugation, and their main components are exosomes. According to the expert consensus released in 2018, since it is difficult to direc...
