Abstract

The fabricated rectangular steel pipe joint comprises a main pipe and a branch pipe perpendicularly crossing the main pipe, and the main pipeand the branch pipe have the same section. The middle of the branch pipe is slotted and then the branch pipe is lapped on the main pipe, wherein slotting the middle of the branch pipe means that thebottom flange and a web in the middle of the branch pipe are cut off and the top flange is through so as to form a slot, and an end plate is welded to each of the two ends of the slot. The main pipe penetrates through the slot, and the main pipe and the end plates are connected through bolts on the lower part of the bottom flange of the main pipe and single-side bolts close to the top flange of the main pipe.
