Problems solved by technology

There are many medicinal plants belonging to the same family as Salvia miltiorrhiza, and there are many bulk medicinal materials such as perilla, baicalin, mint, etc., but compared with Salvia miltiorrhiza, the EST sequences that can be used for these medicinal plants are relatively less

Abstract

Due to the lack of appropriate molecular markers, the recognition research of most of labiatae medicinal plants is almost blank. An EST-SSR primer developed from salvia miltiorrhiza bunge is utilized, salvia alba bunge, salvia officinalis, salvia officinalis Yunnan, salvia officinalis Xinjiang, salvia splendens, perilla frutescens, scutellaria baicalensis, mint, motherwort and platycodon grandiflorum are taken as materials, the universality of the salvia miltiorrhiza bunge EST-SSR primer among labiatae is detected, and clustering analysis is carried out. Universal detection results show that the radix salviae miltiorrhizae primers effectively amplify all test materials, and new EST-SSR markers and recognition references can be provided for research of labiatae medicinal plants.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of molecular biology, and in particular relates to a method for identifying medicinal plants of Labiatae by using salvia miltiorrhiza EST-SSR markers. Background technique [0002] Due to the lack of suitable molecular markers, the research on the identification of most medicinal plants of Labiatae is almost blank. [0003] Expressed Sequence Tags (Expressed Sequence Tags EST) are the 5' or 3' end sequences obtained by large-scale sequencing of randomly selected clones from the cDNA library, and the length is generally 150-500bp. The Simple Sequence Repeat (SSR) marker established based on expressed sequence tags is called EST-SSR. Compared with the simple repeat sequence markers derived from traditional genomes, this new type of SSR marker is gradually showing its unique advantages. As a part of a gene, EST-SSR flanking sequences are highly conserved among species, can provide "absolute" markers for functional genes...
