This invention discloses an apparatus and method for preparing fresh
Dendrobium officinale extract, belonging to the field of medicinal
plant processing. It solves the problems of low extraction rate of active ingredients, loss of heat-sensitive components, short
shelf life, high cost, and difficulty in industrialization in existing fresh
Dendrobium officinale
processing methods. The apparatus consists of a
cutting machine, an automatic conveying
system, a pure
copper tank, a dedicated grinder, a plate
centrifuge, a
homogenizer, a DSI instantaneous sterilizer, and a Class 100 aseptic filling platform connected sequentially, adaptable to the entire fresh
Dendrobium officinale
processing flow. The method uses fresh stems of
Dendrobium officinale (green-stemmed ironwood /
Dendrobium huoshanense) as
raw material. After pretreatment and 2-5mm
slicing, the stems are ground with
tap water boiled and cooled to 2-8℃ in a
copper tank at a material-to-
liquid ratio of 1:15-30 to break the
cell walls. The mixture then undergoes
solid-liquid separation, homogenization, DSI instantaneous sterilization, and aseptic filling to obtain the finished product. The total time from
slicing to sterilization is ≤4 hours. This invention improves the retention and yield of active ingredients (95.5%), reduces overall costs by 21.95%, and the product has a
shelf life of over 6 months at
room temperature away from light. It has a bright green color, a strong gelatinous texture, and can be compounded or further processed, resulting in high market value.
