The control method comprises the steps of acquiring suction superheat, controlling the power of the heating device according to the suction superheat, and performing frequency reduction control on the compressor. The control method and device for preventing liquid floodback of the compressor judge the content of liquid refrigerants in suction gas according to the suction superheat, and control the compressor tooperate with frequency reduction; and at the same time, the heating device is controlled to heat the liquid refrigerants in the gas-liquid separator so as to evaporate the liquid refrigerants into gaseous refrigerants. The refrigerants absorbed by a gas return side of the compressor are ensured to be the gaseous refrigerants so as to avoid liquid floodback of the compressor.
