The invention relates to a
waste heat recovery based flexible peak regulation
system and method for a thermal power
generating unit. The
system comprises a
steam turbine, a generator, a compression type
heat pump, a heat user, a heat
storage tank, a
cold storage tank and a heater for heating network, wherein the
steam turbine is connected with the heater for heating network, and the heater for heating network is connected with the compression type
heat pump to form a peak
heating system; the heat user is connected with the heat
storage tank and the
cold storage tank to form a heat storage and cold release
system; the compression type
heat pump is connected with the generator to form a heat pump driving system; and the compression type heat pump is connected with the heat
storage tank and the
cold storage tank through a hot water pipeline to form a
waste heat recovery and cold storage system. According to the
waste heat recovery based flexible peak regulation system and method for the thermal power
generating unit, heating network high-temperature return water is combined with the compression type heat pump system, the purpose of flexible peak regulation of the
heat supply unit is achieved by consuming the on-grid electric quantity at an outlet of the generator of the unit, reducing the heating steam extraction flow of the unit and reducing the output capacity and the on-grid electric quantity of the unit, the overall peak regulation capacity and the waste heat utilization space of the unit are further improved,
new energy consumption is promoted, and the use efficiency of
primary energy is enhanced.
