Abstract

The invention relates to a surface mine water source identification method based on hydrogen and oxygen isotope analysis. The method comprises the following steps: determining a mining area water sample sampling range according to local hydrogeological data, and carrying out sampling to obtain a mine gushing water sample; carrying out hydrogen and oxygen isotope analysis on each obtained water sample to obtain values of delta<18>O and deltaD in each water sample; determining a local rainfall line; drawing hydrogen and oxygen isotope relationship diagrams of different water samples by taking the delta <18> O as a horizontal coordinate and deltaD as a longitudinal ordinate; observing a relationship between the water gushing sample point distribution position and the local rainfall line, judging a water source cause, observing the distribution positions of the underground water sampling point and the surface water sampling point, judging an underground water mutual supply relationship andthe evaporation intensity, and identifying a surface mine water gushing source according to the hydrogen-oxygen isotope relationship diagrams of different water samples.
