Abstract

The invention discloses a storage method of glutinous Chinese yams and an energy-saving ventilation storehouse thereof. The storage method comprises the following steps: 1) harvesting raw materials: avoiding mechanical damage in a glutinous Chinese yam harvesting process; 2) pre-treatment before warehousing: wherein the pre-treatment comprises two treatment steps of airing and healing; 3) sortingthe glutinous Chinese yams: selecting the glutinous Chinese yams with clean and dry surfaces and healed wounds; 4) warehousing and storing: warehousing vegetable-containing baskets filled with the glutinous Chinese yams in batches, reasonably stacking the vegetable-containing baskets when the vegetable-containing baskets are placed in a shady and cool room of a storage warehouse, keeping the vegetable-containing baskets 20-30cm away from the ground and the wall and 50cm or above away from a ceiling, and reserving gaps among the vegetable-containing baskets; wherein the temperature in the shadyand cool room is controlled between 12 DEG C and 15 DEG C, the humidity in the shady and cool room is controlled between 60% and 80%, and ventilation is conducted once every other 1-2 weeks in the storage process of the glutinous Chinese yams; and 5) ex-warehousing. According to the storage method, it can be guaranteed that the glutinous Chinese yams have the storage period of 6 months or longer,storage facilities save energy, and the use cost is low.
