The embodiment of the invention provides an electronic file processing method and device, electronic equipment and a computer readable medium; the method is applied to a classification system comprising a language processing model, the classification system communicates with a file management system, the classification system is provided with a classification list preset by a user, and the methodcomprises the following steps: obtaining an electronic file sent by the user; calling a language processing model to extract one or more keywords from the electronic file; sequentially performing matching calculation on one or more keywords and each category according to the arrangement sequence of the categories in the classification list, and recording file relevancy corresponding to each category to obtain a plurality of file relevancy; extracting the file relevancy with the highest numerical value from the plurality of file relevancy as target file relevancy; and obtaining and sending a target category corresponding to the target file relevancy to a file management system. According to the method, the electronic files can be quickly sorted and classified, the distribution efficiency ofthe electronic files is effectively improved, and the error probability is reduced.
