Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: firstly, extracting genome DNA of a to-be-detected chicken breed, amplifying upstream and downstream 463bp fragments of an rs14532831 site of a 5' regulation region of the GARNL1 gene, performing RFLP typing on an obtained PCR product, and performing statistical analysis on correlation between different genotypes of the rs16492031 site of the GARNL1 gene and cock testis traits.According to the invention, the correlation relationship between the polymorphism of the rs14532831 site of the chicken breed GARNL1 gene and the testis traits of the chicken breed is detected, and the relationship and the method are used as the means for breeding and marking chicken breeds.
