[0056]Experiments were performed on a single damper by compressing it for a total of N cycles by applying a force (F). The deformation in terms of height difference is measured every 1000 cycles. The obtained results show that the damper deforms significantly in depth or length during the first 1000 cycles and remains largely unchanged after the 0.25N cycle. Despite this, the damper seems to have more cracks after the 0.3N cycle. Images of the damper captured before the start of the compression cycle, the 0.3Nth cycle, and the Nth cycle are shown in Figure 10a middle. Details of the results can be found in Table 1 below.
