Abstract

A power converter comprises a full-bridge conversion circuit. The full-bridge conversion circuit comprises a first leg and a second leg. The first leg comprises at least two switches coupled to each other at a first node, and the second leg comprises at least two switches coupled to each other at a second node. The power converter further comprises an AC filter. The AC filter comprises a first inductor, a second inductor and a capacitor. The first inductor comprises a first end coupled to the first node and a second end could be couple to a grid. The second inductor comprises a first end coupled to the second node and a second end could be couple to the grid. The capacitor comprises a first end coupled to the second end of the first inductor and a second end coupled to the second leg. Thefirst end of the capacitor is electrically coupled to the second end of the first inductor during a cycle of an AC voltage of the grid.

Description

technical field [0001] Embodiments of the present disclosure relate generally to the field of electrical power, and in particular to power converters. Background technique [0002] The non-isolated full bridge is one of the most popular topologies in power factor correction (PFC) and grid-connected converter applications. L or LCL filters are usually employed to suppress high frequency differential mode ripple currents injected into the AC grid. With the same inductance, the LCL filter has better filtering performance than the L filter. However, LCL filters require more inductors, which results in higher cost and larger size. [0003] The unipolar switching scheme can be applied to non-isolated full-bridge topologies. However, unipolar switching schemes introduce high frequency common-mode voltages to the AC grid. Common-mode (CM) voltages generate high-frequency leakage currents at the ground terminal of the grid network, which trigger circuit breakers to shut down the ...
