Embodiment Construction

[0020] In this embodiment, in the BCI system capable of evaluating the auditory behavior of patients with impaired consciousness, loud clapping sounds (about 90dB, duration 200ms) are used as abnormal auditory stimuli, and environmental background noise (about 40dB, duration 200ms) is used as routine auditory stimuli , 1 abnormal auditory stimulus and 4 conventional auditory stimuli randomly constituted an auditory stimulation period, and the interval between each auditory stimulus was 600ms, and 10 stimulation periods constituted an auditory behavior evaluation test. The BCI system uses an amplifier and an EEG cap to record the EEG signals on the conduction of the four leads Fz, FCz, Cz, and CPz. The EEG signal was amplified, and the scalp EEG signal was recorded at a sampling rate of 250 Hz, and the band-pass filter filtering frequency band was between 0.05 Hz and 100 Hz. The impedance of all lead channels is kept below 5KΩ.

[0021] After EEG signal sampling, the process o...

Abstract

The invention discloses a brain-computer interface system capable of performing auditory behavior evaluation on a patient with consciousness disorder. The system comprises an auditory stimulation module, an electroencephalogram acquisition module and an evaluation module, wherein the auditory stimulation module is used for providing auditory frightening stimulation for a subject; the electroencephalogram acquisition module is used for acquiring an electroencephalogram of the subject; and the evaluation module is used for evaluating whether the subject has an auditory response or not accordingto the electroencephalogram. According to the method, the problem of auditory behavior evaluation of some DOC patients who hear but cannot generate auditory frightening response is solved, brain activities can be directly detected without any behavior expression, a more objective and more sensitive mode is provided for auditory behavior evaluation of the DOC patients, and the system can be used for assisting in CRS-R behavior evaluation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of auditory behavior assessment for patients with disturbance of consciousness. Background technique [0002] Behavioral assessment methods are used to assess brain-injured patients with disturbance of consciousness (DOC). Brain-injured patients typically include coma (Comma), vegetative state (VS), minimally conscious state (MCS) and escaped minimally conscious state (EMCS). Accurate assessment of the level of consciousness in DOC patients is important for their diagnosis and monitoring of the effects of their treatment and rehabilitation. The auditory behavioral assessment of the Coma Recovery Scale-Revised (CRS-R) is a consistent and sensitive behavioral assessment standard for patients with disturbance of consciousness (DOC), and it is also the most widely used assessment method in clinical practice. However, since CRS-R relies on behavioral markers, and patients with impaired consciousness have motor ...
