Abstract

The invention relates to an application of elvitegravir in preparation of antitumor drugs. Elvitegravir has the chemical name 6-[(3-chloro-2-fluorophenyl) methyl]-l-[(2S)-l-hydroxy-3-methylbutan-2-yl]-7-methoxy-4-oxo-1, 4-dihydroquinoline-3-carboxylic acid, the CAS number is 697761-98-1, the molecular formula is C23H23ClFNO5, and the molecular weight is 447.884. According to the invention, the inhibition effect of elvitegravir on tumor cells, especially on esophageal squamous carcinoma cells and gastric cancer cells, is discovered for the first time. Research results show that elvitegravir caninhibit proliferation of esophageal squamous carcinoma cells KYSE150 and KYSE450 and gastric carcinoma cells HGC27 and AGS.
