Abstract

Young modulus of a material is measured by observing the relationship of the positive strain of an object along with the change of controllable external force. Common methods include a stretching method and a bending method. For metal wires and other linear materials, the stretching method is most convenient. Equipment appearing on the market is expensive or inconvenient to adjust, and the invention aims to design a simple device for measuring the Young modulus of a metal wire through an optical lever in cooperation with telescope reading by means of a stretching method. According to the invention, the preparation process time for observing the scale reading in the earlier stage is shortened, so that the preparation process is simpler and easier. In order to achieve the purpose, the following technical scheme is adopted in the invention: a device schematic diagram is shown in Figure 1.
