The invention discloses a hip protection composition for preventing diaper rash and a preparation method thereof. The formula of the composition includes deionized water, a skin conditioning agent, anemulsifying agent, a humectant, a stabilizing agent, grease and calamine; and the skin conditioning agent is selected from a mixture of D-panthenol, prebiotics, a pH regulating agent and a salvia japonica extract. The effects of the composition can be achieved from multiple dimensions as below: the calamine is effective in antibacterial effect and has the efficacy of astringing dampness and removing rot parts, promoting wound healing and tissue regeneration, and dispelling redness and relieving itching; a protective membrane formed by squalane, petrolatum and mineral oil can achieve the effects of isolating, lubricating and repairing skin; and the skin conditioning agent can maintain weak acid environment of hips, inhibit the activity of digestive enzyme, promote the growth of skin probiotics, recover the microflora balance of skins, enhance skin resistance, resist to bacteria, diminish inflammation, and promote damaged skins to heal. The composition has good stability, is mild and non-irritating to the skins and can effectively solve the problems of diaper rash in babies.
