The winch comprises a winding drum, a hydraulic motor assembly and a hydraulic control valve bank, and is characterized in that the hydraulic motor assembly comprises a high-speed end hydraulic motor assembly and a low-speed end hydraulic motor assembly which are mounted at the two sidesof the winding drum respectively in a transmission mode. According to the winch, the high-speed end hydraulic motor assembly drives the winding drum to output torque at a rotational speed n1, the low-speed end hydraulic motor assembly drives the winding drum to output torque at a rotational speed n2, the ratio of n1 to n2 can reach 10:1 or above, accordingly the winding drum outputs a high rotational speed in the startup or shutdown stage to rapidly complete lifting work and outputs a low rotational speed in the working stage to drive a milling wheel to complete slot milling work, energy consumption is reduced, and the working efficiency of a slot milling machine is greatly improved.
