The vernier permanent magnetmotor comprises the stator and a rotor which are coaxially sleeved, and an air gap is formed between the stator and the rotor; an encoding type auxiliary tooth structure is arranged on the side face,close to the air gap, in the stator, and a first permanent magnet is arranged on a part of the encoding type auxiliary tooth structure; a plurality of pairs of alternately distributed second permanentmagnets and ferromagnets are arranged on the side surface, close to the air gap, in the rotor in a surrounding manner; and the first permanent magnet and the ferromagnet generate a first magnetic field, the second permanent magnet and the coding type auxiliary tooth structure generate a second magnetic field, and the magnetic fields are superposed to form a working magnetic field. The encoding type auxiliary tooth structure interacts with the permanent magnet on the rotor, the permanent magnet on the encoding type auxiliary tooth structure interacts with the ferromagnet on the rotor, the generated magnetic fields are mutually superposed to form a plurality of working magnetic fields, the amplitude of the working magnetic fields is larger, and the phases of counter electromotive forces generated by harmonic waves of the main working magnetic fields in the windings are consistent.
