Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of chaff cloud cluster reflection, transmission and attenuation coefficient measurement, and discloses a chaff cloud electromagnetic scattering coefficient measurement method and system and application. A deterministic chaff cloud model is constructed by using a method of inserting a metal wire into a foam block; a material with a known reflection coefficient is measured as calibration data, and the reflection coefficient of the chaff cloud to be measured is calculated by using a comparison method; a material with a known transmission coefficient is measured as calibration data, and the transmission coefficient of the chaff cloud to be measured is calculated by using a comparison method; the attenuation coefficient of the chaff cloud is calculated by comparing the receiving power before and after material addition; and chaff cloud related parameters in different polarization modes are measured by changing the polarization angle of the receiving and transmitting antenna. The reflection, transmission and attenuation coefficients of the chaff cloud are measured, and the measured parameters can be applied to electromagnetic calculation of the chaff cloud; the experimental method is simple and practical, and can also be applied to measurement of other materials.
