Abstract

An engine nacelle (100) for an aircraft (10), has a fan housing; a fan housing movable between an advanced position and a retracted position, wherein at the retracted position, an opening between the bypass duct and the outside is opened; a flow guide secured to the mobile fan housing, wherein at the advanced position, the flow guide surrounds the fan housing and at the retracted position, the flow guide spans the opening; and a fan ramp (120) having a mounting base (122) and flaps (124), wherein the flaps are movable on the mounting base (122) between a stowed position and a deployed position, the fan ramp (120) has, for each flap (124), a restoring element (312) which urges the flap (124) into the deployed position, and the flow guide has a stop. The stop contacts the flap (124) when the mobile cowl passes from the retracted position through the reverse advanced position. Thus, at the advanced position, the flaps are folded rearward and their volume is reduced.
