Abstract

The invention discloses a tile fixing robot control method and device. The method comprises the steps of receiving control over the angle of a laser emitter on a tile fixing robot by a user; controlling the laser emitter to emit four laser beams, wherein the four laser beams irradiate the four vertexes of the wall face to be tile-fixed; ranging the distance between the tile fixing robot and each of the four vertexes according to the four emitted lasers; at least calculating the area of the wall face to be tile-fixed according to the distances obtained through ranging by four lasers; and calculating a path of the tile fixing robot for tile fixing on the wall face according to the area of the wall face to be tile-fixed and the pre-obtained area of a tile. According to the tile fixing robot control method and device provided by the invention, the problem caused by manual measurement and input of the position parameters of the wall face to be tile-fixed in the prior art is solved, so that the tile fixing robot can automatically measure and plan the area of the wall face, and the tile fixing efficiency can be improved to a certain extent.
