Abstract

The plasticizing screw includes a base element which is stretched along a longitudinal axis, a screw tip which is connected to the base element, and a return flow shut-off valve. The screw tip is located on the downsream side of the base element in the injection direction (E). The return flow shut-off valve includes at least one first anterior limit stop in the injection direction, a second posterior limit stop (7) in the injection direction, and a shut-off ring (8) movable in a limited manner between the two limit stops along the longitudinal axis (L). The at least one first anterior limit stop (6) comprises a first limit stop surface (A6) facing towards the base element (3) and the shut-off ring (8) and used for the shut-off ring (8).
