Problems solved by technology

However, such customized hardware systems are difficult to validate in a cross-laboratory environment and have the following drawbacks:
[0007] 2. These methods have determined the detection method when the program is burned to the motherboard, and cannot be adjusted in real time
While many of these setups are ingenious, their implementation in other laboratories is not as easy as the control systems typically require experienced technicians to assemble the required electronics and debug other necessary hardware and software

Abstract

The invention discloses a closed-loop optical genetic intervention system and method, and the system comprises: a plurality of electrodes which are used for being implanted into the brain of an animal; a biological data recording device whichis in signal communication with the electrodes and collects signals of the multiple electrodes; a pulse stimulator which is connected with the animal brain through an optical fiber and is used for carrying out light stimulation on the animal brain; and a controller which is in signal connection with the biological data recording device and the pulse stimulator and is configured to read a signal of the biological data recording device, process the signal and output a corresponding signal to the pulse stimulator to perform light stimulation on the brain of the animal after a light genetic trigger condition is met. The system provided by the invention can analyze the LFP activity of a plurality of recording electrodes in real time, and realizes closed-loop stimulation taking brain interval function connection as a triggering condition.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to the field of optogenetics, in particular to a closed-loop optogenetics intervention system and intervention method. Background technique [0002] The closed-loop control triggered by neural electrical signals is a strategy for real-time adjustment of external interventions based on the organism's own electrical signals, and is an effective method for studying the dynamics of neural circuits. Open-loop control is to perform corresponding processing according to the preset control input, while closed-loop control is to adjust the control input in the system according to the difference between the output and the expected target, and the control input needs to be adjusted in real time according to the state of the system itself. [0003] In neuroscience research, this process can be summarized as comparing the signals recorded in the organism, such as behavioral parameters, electrical signals or imaging signals, with the target sig...
