The invention discloses a power transmission tower state automatic monitoring system which comprises an integrated coupling sensor and a power transmission tower monitoring box which are installed on a power transmission tower and both placed in a special closed box container. A solar cell panel and a wireless transmission antenna are arranged on the surface of the closed box container, and the closed box container is connected with the power transmission tower through bolts. All elements of the transmission tower state automatic monitoring system are finely produced in a factory and can be debugged and installed on an existing tower structure on site. The device and the method provide an on-line monitoring system which is used for simultaneously monitoring inclination, impact or vibration states of the power transmission tower in real time, continuously recording various influences of environment or artificial damage, timely finding potential faults of the tower and realizing reliable maintenance during service. According to the invention, the fault of the power transmission tower is prevented, and the operation cost of power transmission facilities is greatly reduced.
